Walker Modular bathroom pods for New Wakefield Street, Manchester

Walker Modular are pleased to be supplying Bathroom Pods for this student accommodation project located in Manchester. The development will comprise of a building of approximately 35-storeys with ground floor commercial space.

The floors will be arranged in 5-10 bed clusters with shared kitchen facilities and some studio flats. The ground floor will include a commercial unit, student amenity space throughout the building and an office facility.

The 165m building, which will also include 6,000 sq. ft. of communal and ancillary spaces for student use and 259 secure cycle storage spaces. This site is close to a number of existing businesses and to campuses of both the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University and will also help to revitalise New Wakefield Street as a key node within the corridor through opening up the existing ground floor to commercial uses.
