Description
Standing tall since the 1800’s, the streetscape of Montrose Terrace is a Historic treasure demonstrating the diverse nature of Edinburgh’s past. This latest development, a 149-bed build of student studios and cluster flats, has been designed so that the exterior will replicate the surroundings, and harmonise with this view. Hidden inside will be an array of modern Student Accommodation, ready for ever growing student population flooding into Edinburgh. Walker Modular will provide all the Bathroom Pods in this state-of-the-art facility, which will also feature not only the usual amenities but also a selection of social areas, a gym and a cycle storage. Once complete, this once derelict site, originally home to a petrol station which fell victim to a fuel leak; will transform into lively building, creating new jobs for the area and new home-away-from-homes for the students.
