Description

Famously known as the home of The Oval cricket grounds, Kennington Oval is getting a redevelopment. Amongst the regeneration works are the plans for a new 95 bed hotel, adjacent to the Cricket ground themselves. Walker Modular Bathroom Pods will feature throughout the scheme, located in the Grade II listed building once known as the Oval House theatre, which has now been relocated. The hotel will feature all the expected amenities, including on-site parking and a bar/restaurant, all just a stones thrown away from the events and hospitality provided on the cricket grounds. All in all, Hotel Accommodation was desperately needed within the area, and so this is a welcome development.
