Walker Modular supplied factory-manufactured bathroom pods for the development. Waterproofing, services, tiling and sanitaryware were completed under factory conditions and each pod was inspected before dispatch.
Central London sites offer very little space for storage, deliveries or extended wet trade sequences. Delivering finished bathrooms directly into position reduced both the number of trades working on site and the volume of material and waste that had to be handled there.
Pods were delivered to a programmed sequence by Walker Modular's own fleet and drivers, who work regularly into restricted central London locations.
Each pod carried an individual digital quality record, providing full traceability from manufacture through to installation.
