Custodial bathrooms carry a specification unlike any other sector — every fitting, fixing and edge is assessed for anti-ligature risk, and every service access point has to satisfy security review. Steel framed construction gave the rigidity and tamper resistance the brief demanded.
Walker Modular worked closely with the principal contractor and HMPPS to sign off finishes, fixings and service access early, then produced under a locked specification. Delivery was phased to match the sequenced rebuild of the estate.
