Sustainability
Built in the factory.
Designed for lower impact.
Factory-led manufacturing cuts site waste, tightens material control and gives every pod a traceable production record from raw material to handover.

Factory-led materials
Lower-impact choices,
locked in at design stage.
Material selection is not an afterthought. We specify for durability, responsible sourcing and future serviceability before the first mould opens.
Long-life GRP composite
Our one-piece GRP shells are engineered to outlast the building lifecycle. No joints, no silicone-dependent panels, and no hidden failure points that drive premature replacement.
Steel from responsible sources
Steel framed pods use heavy-gauge C-section frames from accredited UK and European suppliers with full mill certification and chain-of-custody documentation.
Low-emission finishes
Adhesives, grouts and sealants are selected for low VOC emissions and compliance with BREEAM Hea 02 indoor air quality requirements.
Designed for disassembly
Serviceable components, accessible M&E connections and standardised fixings make future maintenance, refurbishment and end-of-life recovery easier.
Reduced waste
Less waste, less rework, less carbon.
Building bathrooms in a factory replaces dozens of site trades with one controlled production line. Offcuts are captured, segregated and recycled instead of ending up in skips.
- Up to 90% reduction in site-generated bathroom waste compared to traditional fit-out.
- Consolidated deliveries reduce transport movements and site congestion.
- Pre-tested pods eliminate the snagging, rework and water damage that inflate embodied carbon.
- Renewable-first grid switching prioritises clean electricity for manufacturing whenever it is available.
Renewable-first power
Grid switching that chooses clean energy whenever it is available.
Our factory is connected to a renewable-first grid switching system. It continuously monitors the electricity grid and automatically routes our manufacturing load to renewable sources whenever they are available.
We are not yet 100% renewable around the clock, but this system is a deliberate part of our sustainability drive: it maximises the share of clean energy that powers our shell production, steel framing, fit-out and testing operations without compromising production continuity.
- Automatic switching to renewable grid electricity whenever available.
- Monitored across shell production, framing, fit-out and testing.
- Transparent energy sourcing as part of our ISO 14001 environmental management system.
QA & traceability
Every pod,
fully traceable.
Traceability is how we prove what we claim. From raw material batch to handover certificate, every pod has a complete digital record.
Traceability
QR-coded serial number
Every pod carries a unique serial and QR code linking it to its production batch, drawings, material certificates and test records.
Traceability
Digital inspection records
Tablet-based QA checklists capture every water test, electrical test and visual inspection with timestamp and operator signature.
Traceability
Photographic evidence
Key stages — shell, first fix, fit-out, testing and wrap — are photographed and archived against the pod record for complete as-built documentation.
Traceability
Material certificates on demand
Resin, steel, sanitaryware and electrical component certificates are matched to the pod and available at handover for O&M manuals.
Quality assurance
QA that supports sustainability claims.
A green claim is only as strong as the evidence behind it. Our QA system records material provenance, test results and compliance so sustainability credentials can be verified at audit.
