Our process
Eight stages.
One standard.
Every Walker Modular pod follows the same rigorous path from design freeze to site delivery — engineered to remove risk from your programme.

Design freeze
We work with your architect and M&E team to lock every layout, service run and finish before a single mould opens.
Prototype pod
A full sample pod is built, inspected and signed off by the project team before production begins.
Moulding & framing
GRP shells laid up in-house or steel frames fabricated to millimetre tolerance.
Mechanical & electrical
First fix pipework, wiring, drainage and ventilation installed by our in-house trades.
Fit-out
Sanitaryware, tiling, doors, mirrors, joinery and ironmongery installed in a controlled environment.
Quality assurance
Every pod water-tested, electrically tested and visually inspected against a documented checklist.
Wrap & store
Pods sealed, protected and stored under cover until the site is ready.
Just-in-time delivery
Our own fleet and trained drivers deliver pods to the crane, timed to floor availability — on time, in full, every time.

Dedicated fleet & drivers
On time. In full. Every time.
Delivery is not handed to a third-party haulier. We run our own fleet and trained drivers who are experienced in delivering to live construction sites — from delivery schedule through to crane onsite.

End-to-end control
We manage the schedule, loading, route and lift plan.

Programme-critical delivery
Delays cost everyone — we do not fail on pod arrival.
Why it matters
A predictable process
is a predictable programme.
Site-built bathrooms depend on 15+ trades arriving in the right order. Ours arrive as a single, tested unit — reducing follow-on trades, snags and RFIs to near zero.
Because the process is the same for every pod, programme risk becomes a factory-floor issue we own, not a site issue you inherit.
