The four-storey Charter House, on the corner of Bagot Street and Legge Street, will be bulldozed and replaced with a building of up to ten storeys containing over 530 en suite bedrooms.
Walker Modular will supply Bathroom Pods for the en suite shared flats.
The £24 million development will be arranged over 160,000sq ft and will include a convenience store, fitness suite and 27 bike spaces.
