The Walpole is a new five storey development comprising 87 rooms organised in clusters, together with independent studios, to accommodate the increasing student population around Goldsmiths, one of the University of London’s prestigious centres of learning. The ground level is animated by a new bar and restaurant to replace the former pub, yet providing a calm courtyard focussed arrangement away from the traffic for the surrounding student accommodation. The building has been planned to maximise the potential of the site providing high quality communal spaces and private rooms for a new generation of students.
