Fishbourne Road, Chichester

Plans for Fishbourne Road, Chichester are to develop the site adjacent to the Tesco petrol filling station on Fishbourne Road East as purpose built student accommodation for use by students living in the City. The scheme will include associated ancillary uses such as common room, management suite, bicycle store, bin store, and laundry room. Walker Modular will provide Bathroom Pods for this development in which the current design comprises en-suite study bedrooms arranged in clusters of 4-5 with shared living/kitchen/dining rooms and self-contained studio rooms. This student accommodation block compromises two buildings each three to four storeys with 134 student bed spaces which was supported by the University of Chichester to accommodate the recent increase in the student population.
