Description

The demolition of the former Footprint Tools factory on Hollis Croft, just off Broad Lane will introduce a new Student Accommodation development and erect four buildings including an 18-storey tower. The landmark development is set to include communal facilities for students, commercial units and outdoor space. Walker Modular are happy to announce they will supply all Bathroom Pods for this development and are looking forward to being a part of this growing city. Plans are to revive the former Footprint Tools site, which is in need of regeneration and will not only provide much-needed new accommodation, but will contribute to the wider rejuvenation of the city. The development complex is capable of housing more than 1,000 students and will spend up to £60 million on the project off Hollis Croft. The first buildings are set to be completed by September 2018 with the accommodation ready in time for the 2018 academic year.
