Student Village, Loughborough University Mixed Scheme

Walker Modular proudly introduce their involvement with this development at Loughborough University. As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to students, almost £50 million is being invested in a fantastic new halls of residence in the heart of the Loughborough campus. The new hall of residence will provide new student bedrooms to support the ongoing demand from new and returning students. This accommodation development will be a complex of ten blended multi-storey buildings. There will be a mix of en-suite rooms and cluster flats with shared kitchen facilities and the halls will also include cycle storage and a central hub that can be used as a common room by students. Walker Modular will supply all Bathroom Pods for this development which will be built in two phases. The first blocks will be complete for the start of the 2018 academic year, with the remaining blocks being ready for occupation for the same time in 2019.
