The main aim for the rejuvenation of Smithfield is the creation of a bustling cultural quarter which will make the district a more attractive proposition for visitors. Right on the Luas line, just set back from the Liffey, the proposed hotel will be less than a 10min walk to the likes of Temple Bar.
