Within easy reach of Nottingham’s Sneinton Market, the derelict site on Lower Parliament Street will soon support an impressive build of student apartments within the hub of Nottingham’s creative and digital resources, the Creative Quarter. Walker Modular will provide all Bathroom Pods for the 354 apartments, set in a key location on route between both Sneinton Market and the City Centre. The new scheme is located on the site of the former Housing Aid building in Nottingham city centre which would be made up of two buildings to include studio apartments and cluster flats, along with commercial space on the ground floor. Assisting the needs of the growing student population, while still encompassing the publics need for parking and commerce, this future-focused design will turn the vacant land into a thrilling aid, ready for this thriving community.
