Set on the corner of Gas Lane in Bristol, a new development is underway to transform the old site featuring a car workshop, offices and parking into a modern block of Student Accommodation. Perfectly located near the local university’s newest campus development, this scheme is set to offer circa 260 student rooms across a total of six to nine storeys.
Walker Modular will be manufacturing the Bathroom Pods for build, which is also expected to consist of a bike store, roof terrace, courtyard and various social/study spaces. Conscious of the nearby canal, the open railings and raised ground floor levels ensure protection from flooding, as well as offering a level of security for the residents.
On the whole, the development should be a beautiful, modern use of space for the residents to enjoy.
