Walker Modular bathroom pods for Bedminster, Dalby Avenue, Bristol

The Dalby Avenue scheme in Bedminster forms part of the ongoing regeneration of south Bristol, replacing underused land on a prominent route into the city with new accommodation and active ground-floor space.

Walker Modular is supplying factory-manufactured bathroom pods for the development. Each bathroom is built and finished within the factory and delivered to site as a complete, tested unit.

Building the bathrooms off site removes a long sequence of wet trades from a busy urban site with limited storage and constrained access, and allows bathroom production to run in parallel with construction of the frame.

Deliveries are sequenced against the site programme and managed by Walker Modular's own dedicated fleet and drivers.

Each pod carries its own digital quality record, giving the project individual traceability and photographic quality assurance records that remain available after handover.
